On September 2, 2007, Ahvee’s Destiny won her third race (second in a row) on Saratoga’s grass course by three lengths—just a fraction off the track record. Since the Freedberg’s were in Scotland, they saw the result on TV in the lobby of The Gleneagles Hotel. Trainer Linda Rice, her staff, and jockey, Alan Garcia are in the winner’s circle.Ahvee’s Destiny wins the $100,000 Satin and Lace Stakes

It was her first time on a synthetic surface, but she had her racing shoes on and beat Proud Heiress by 1 ¼ lengths. Linda’s brother, Wayne, handled Ahvee’s Destiny for the Rice family and for us. He poses with her and his family in the Winner’s Circle.

Avram C. Freedberg's racehorse, Ahvee’s Destiny, wins for the first time by four lengths in the last race of 2006 at Aqueduct. Instead of taking the lead and fading, as she had done in her two prior efforts, Ahvee’s Destiny took the lead and never relinquished it. A very exciting first win in her last race as a two-year-old filly! Included in the winner’s circle are from left: Avram C. Freedberg, trainer Linda Rice, Harvey Fishman, and jockey, Chuck C. Lopez.  On August 12, 2007, three-year-old Ahvee’s Destiny defeated her stable mate, Karakorum Elektra, by a half-length on the grass at Saratoga Race Track. The family pet, Cricket, whose name is part of the stable name, “Everything’s Cricket Racing,” and whose image appears on the front and back of the jockey’s silks, sadly passed away four days later. In the winner’s circle for her second win are Avram C. Freedberg and his wife, Rhoda, trainer, Linda Rice, friends, Don and Barbara Stern, and jockey, Eibar Coa.  On September 2, 2007, Ahvee’s Destiny won her third race (second in a row) on Saratoga’s grass course by three lengths—just a fraction off the track record.
